Graham and Debbie Hornsey became the sole owners in 2021, after 22 years of partnership with Wayne and Shelley Dickinson, continuing their commitment to exceptional butchery and service.
Originally located on Arawa Street, we listened to the needs of Matamata and moved our retail butchery and homekill operations to Firth Street. With plenty of parking and a convenient shopping experience, we make it easy to access the best fresh meat in town.
We operate a dual butchery, providing both premium fresh meat for our retail customers and homekill services for our rural community. We process homekill beef, sheep, and pigs with the highest standards, ensuring quality and safety. As an MPI-audited facility, we adhere to strict food safety and quality control measures.
